DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS BOOK OR AUTHOR!

This book could have been good if the author had completed it. It had a good story line, but apparently this author thinks you should have to buy his complete series to get an ending to the current book. One of my biggest pet peeves is when an author does not finish the current book, but instead treats it like it is just a chapter in his series of books. A good author would complete the current book, and start the next book in his series as a continuation or expansion of the story line. He wouldn't just leave you hanging with no closure to this book. A good author makes each book in his series so that it can be a stand-alone book, without relying on future books to complete the current one. If it is good, readers will want to buy future books in a series to see what new things will happen in the lives of the characters. Also, not everyone buys the first book in a series first. Sometimes, they may not know it is a series and may start with the second or last book. They still deserve to have a full stand-alone book that they can enjoy when they buy a book. A good author will rely on each book being good enough for people to buy other copies in the series. Author's like this one just chop the current book off to try to make you buy other books in the series to find out the ending to the current book. Of course this sometimes requires you to buy all the books in a series to ever get the ending you deserve. This is a ploy used by many author's, and one that is deplored by readers. It is dishonest, and cheats the readers who deserve to receive a full book containing beginning, middle, and ending without being required to purchase another booksook to get it. If this author was a good author who has his readers best interests in mind instead of trying to squeeze the most money he can out of them, he would provide them with a good total book and rely on them purchasing future books because of his skills as an author instead of using gimmicks to try to get them to buy future books. Don't waste your time with this book, this author, or other author's like him.

This is NOT a book.

Luna Proxy by Mac Flynn is NOT a book. It is the beginning chapters to a full story. If you want to finish that story you have to buy the next "book". "Author's" like this are pathetic and horrible. There are six books in this "series". Each one ranges from 40 to 71 pages in length. Excluding the first book, you have to pay 2.99 per book or 14.95 for all six.
Now I do not know about you, but when I buy a book I expect there to be a beginning (intro/ settings), a middle (problem/ action), and an ending (resolution/ conclusion). By the time you got to know the characters and their behaviors, the story was over. Why this author thinks that it is okay to try and milk money from people like this, I do not know. It pisses me off to no end that anyone would do this.
If this was a full book I would have enjoyed it a little more. I was ready to keep reading. There are a few grammar errors and spelling mistakes, but it was mostly things I could overlook. Still, because this was not a full book and you have to pay for the next "book", I only give this one star. I will not condone this terrible behavior.
