Could Not Get Through The Last Story

I liked the main story the most. The main characters were two people that were broken by circumstances, but they were able to deal with the world together. Joss is a pint sized dynamo that can take down a man twice her size without breaking a sweat. She needs to break through her painful past to protect Carrington and his small daughter McKelty.
Carrington is doubtful that a small woman like Joss can protect his daughter. All that changes when she lays him out flat. The story has the right amount of suspense, action and romance. There are bonus stories included. The first four stories were good. I just couldn't get through the last one. All the stories flowed nicely, except the last one. Just didn't like it.

Joss kept me on my toes waiting for what would come next. With her not talking the suspense was high to see if she could do the protection duty in silence. Then the draw between her and the man who's daughter she was protecting got stronger made for the suspense. Love it as have all the Gray Wolf books.

I am really in love with the Gray Wolf Security team. Joss's story was very emotional. Protecting someone else's child helped her overcome her nonverbal state. She was one fierce protector. She was a very strong and well rounded character.
